In 2015 we watched Baltimore native YGG Tay develop into an artist to watch out for thanks to his DJ Plugg-hosted mixtape Young Go Getter, which featured production from the likes of TM88, Zaytoven, and Metro Boomin. Outside of that, YGG Tay also served up a street single featuring Young Scooter titled “Hood.” Looking to build from the previous year’s success, Tay releases 252: The Mixtape — a 9-track effort that will double as a new soundtrack to anyone making a living holding it down in the trap. YGG Tay puts the spotlight on himself as he utilizes in-house production and opts to pass on collaborations this time around.
