T’Melle ft. Kevin Gates – Cross The Line

From Atlanta, GA to Baton Rouge, LA, songstress T’Melle (pronounced TA-Mell) connects with Kevin Gates blend their respective sounds together for a new single titled “Cross The Line.” The collaboration describes a story of love that so many are familiar with, which allows the listener to immediately relate.

“Love and relationships are never perfect and sometimes have to cross the line,” T’Melle said to XXL via email. “I really loved Kevin Gates tone and his perspective in his music. I thought it was a perfect match.”

T’Melle started her career in a group but caught the eye of TLC’s Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. Things were great until the infamous car crash in Honduras involving Lopes and T’Melle derailed everything. Left Eye was tragically killed and the young singer was seriously injured. For two years she worked her way back to health, and after countless surgeries to her left leg and hip plus tons of therapy, T’Melle gained the strength she needed to restart her career goals. She would move from Philadelphia, her hometown, to Atlanta and get introduced to Walter Sutton, CEO of Infra-Red Entertainment.
