One thing I’ve truly enjoyed through my time running 1DF is watching the progression of an artist. It influences me more than most would think to personally watch a musician attain heights they’ve long aspired to reach. One such artist that has made great progress since my time initially covering him is Al Koleon. Our first conversation came on the heels of his Cloud Surfing EP, which would soon grow into a very special moment in Koleon’s career.
The past few months have been as busy a time as ever for “KushWorldKoley”. In addition to pushing his latest video Moonrocks & O.G, and his single Still Blazing getting XM Radio play the Jersey-born product is completing his new project Grinding Season. Aside from the music itself is a healthy tour schedule spanning everywhere from Indiana to Texas. Things have definitely been trending in a positive manner for Al Koleon.
We recently had the opportunity to catch up with Koleon once again. The topics discussed ranged from the music mentioned previously in this article, to his past jail stint and the affect that it had on him as a man and artist.
