There are several different paths to success. For everyone who has made it to the top of their respective field, there is also a unique way in which they made it there. One of the simplest is to inherit the wealth and business left to you from a family member, but of course not many families have multi-million dollar corporations. Another way to succeed is to hone in on one particular skill and focus on it til you become the best. After all, practice does make perfect. As far as Chevy Fisha goes, he is taking the approach of learning as much as he can about as many things as possible.
MSPHiT Chevy makes his impact felt throughout Mississippi’s music scene as a promoter, DJ, A&R, videographer, graphic designer, solo artist and more. The wealth of multi-dimensional talent possessed is a clear exhibition of his desire to succeed. The thing with him though is that desire not only applies to himself, but a faction of other creatives both managed by and associated with Chevy. In a state largely devoid of outlets to help musicians grow he looks to be a beacon of light, using his MSPHiT Ent imprint to do so.
Under the MSPHiT umbrella he not only releases music but provides opportunities such as the “Rep Yo City” showcase. These showcases allow artists from all over his region a chance to get valuable stage time as well as incentives to the best performer of the night. It’s truly a win/win situation as the listerners get familiar with the local talent as participants build their live show quality. Also in the works for Chevy Fisha is the #1MS compilation which is set to feature talent statewide collaborating in an effort to promote unity. Things like this only go to show how selfless the mogul in the making truly is.
As he continues to progress in his career it’s increasingly evident that Chevy will not stop until he attains every goal he has set for himself. It’s that sheer will and unwavering ability to put others first as well that makes me root for Chevy more than anything.
