Tokin does it “Like This” on self-produced track

The long awaited, and debut track from his upcoming, untitled EP, “Like This” is the first song of the self-dubbed “new wave” from budding Maryland hip-hop artist/producer, Tokin. An almost joyfully-eerie ambiance of synths and leads bounce in and out and keep the pace throughout the track, accompanied by buzzing 808s and trap inspired percussion. Having invested in new equipment and sounds, finding new flows as well as new parts of himself, “Like This” is a new breed of sound yet to be heard from the 25 year old MC….and the hunger is evident. The track is set to release August 17th on Soundcloud, iTunes, Spotify, and Tidal among other sources, accompanied by a dynamite video filmed and edited by Maryland based visual artist, Faizon Films.
