CT comes from Milwaukee with a heartfelt single entitled “I Pray.” This song acts as a dedication to CT’s older brother who was murdered, as well as to Syville Smith, who was murdered by police during the Milwaukee riots. CT was raised on Milwaukee’s North Side, which is where these riots took place, so he was directly impacted by these events. In regards to the song he had the following to say:
“A lot of pain, a lot of pride, & a lot of real life went into this record for my city, for the streets, & for my family. I dedicated this song to my big brother, as he was lost to gun violence & Syville Smith who was killed by a police officer.”
