Canada’s David Versis arrives with a moody, yet hype track to all the haters out there. Titled “Well Wishes” it is a good introduction into the unique style the rising artist has. In regards to the song he said the following:
“That’s what my main goal was on “Well Wishes”. The hook speaks to a familiar message of “they don’t want me to succeed”, in a somewhat reflective manner, but the verses are where the intensity lives. I want listeners to feel hype as fuck right when the song hits, and then suck the air out of the room when the chorus comes in. It’s a real up-and-down type record, which is something that seems to be constant in my music.” – David Versis
