T Barz is back and ready to address all the real “Friends” out there. As a part of the artist’s weekly series,she wrecks this instrumental which was originally recorded by J Cole from his chart-topping album, “KOD”. “Friends” is the 4th installment of T BARZ’s weekly freestyle series, “Barz On Thursdays”, where she will release a new freestyle leading up to the upcoming release of her debut EP, “Genesis”. The EP will be released later this August and is led by the party-starter single, “Two Way”, available on streaming platforms now.
“This cover/freestyle is a salute to one of my favorite rappers of this time, J Cole. I was inspired by his track “Friends” off his latest album KOD and I wanted to drop something on it just for the respect & culture,” says T Barz.
