Ballad tries to excape his past on “Wondering”

Rising R&B star Ballad had a quiet 2018 since the release of his 2017 project, Croix EP, but he’s back with his new single, “Wondering”. The track was produced by Illuid Haller and mastered by Grammy winning recording engineer Chris Ascher (responsible for engineering Ella Mai’s “Boo’d Up”). As the title suggests, “Wondering” is a song about the mental space of an ex lover who finds himself wondering about the past.

In Ballad’s words: “After lovers part ways, they find themselves in a space where they’re left to pick up the pieces. I was in that space. Our paths may no longer be the same, but the love is unconditional. It’s okay to find yourself wondering sometimes.”

“Wondering” will be featured on his upcoming EP release For, Lost Thoughts.
