Denali explores what it means to recondition one’s perception of self and ultimately realizes that she is right where she is “supposed to be.” This single follows her critically-acclaimed debut single “Painkiller,” and continues to demonstrate the songstress’ unapologetic, powerful storytelling.
Accompanying the single, the visually stunning music video, directed by Anthony Galindo, shows off her signature stylish flair and echoes the messages of self-love and acceptance as she “learned how to put [herself] first.” Co-written by Galindo and Denali, the video tackles both the sense of power and struggle in learning to accept yourself as Denali appears at times adorned like a goddess and in distress at others.
