It’s officially fall in the northern hemisphere, but Dominican-American rapper MRG and Surinamese-by-way-of-Amsterdam recording artist Rootsz revive summer with “Bad Gyal“, premiered today by Afropop Worldwide. With a strong marimba backbeat provided by British producer WIZE (Boiler Room tv host), “Bad Gyal” is from the sprawling soundscape of MRG’s forthcoming debut album Live From The Hurst 2 (due out October 25th via Westvilla Music).
