Phoenix-native KALI+ is a rising, resilient rapper, who has a unique story that can can inspire many. At the age of 15, KALI+ was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called Friedreich’s Ataqxia. Due to the disorder, he had to come grips with the fact that he would be confined to a wheelchair. However, this did not change his outlook on life, and instead used his condition to prove his self confidence is higher than ever.
KALI+ used music as a vehicle to help him stay focused, and within a couple of years, he was already making music professionally, and participated in his first nationwide tour with Mark Battles. Now, to continue to his momentum, KALI+ delivers a new 4-track EP titled “Inner Mood.”
