Exclusive Interview: Rising Artist Bam Bam

Very seldom do we get to come across dope independent artists from small towns – especially in the middle of Georgia. Today, we have the buzzing rapper Bam Bam from Warner Tobins representing his hometown! Well, let’s dive deep into the mind of the Warner Tobins rapper with an exclusive interview to learn more about him.

What influenced you to become a rapper?

Back then when I first started I just looked at it as something fun to do, but now I look at music totally different. Now I’m more into the business side of things and I feel like I can flourish in it.

Where were you born and raised?

I come from Warner Robins, Ga. It’s a little further down south from the city, but we right in the middle of Georgia.

How did the music culture of your hometown affect your choice of style?

Where I’m from it’s very diverse ! Everybody has there own thing and it’s unique. You have guys like Rich Villain, Ysn Mitch, Sarieon Los, SupaFly Polo, and others who really have a different type of style that I know the people love to hear where I’m from. It affects my choice of style because it allows me to just be myself and it lets the creativeness do the work.

What do you feel made you stand out from other artists in your hometown?

Good Question! Maybe it’s my drive and dedication to the craft and business. Not saying I’m the only one who’s hungry for this or wants it badder than most, but this really takes a lot of work behind the scenes and I’ve recently learned that. A lot of people may not be willing to spend their bread on the things that I have or they may not be willing to take that long drive on the road to handle some business like I am.

If I were from out of town and wanted the best local food in Atlanta – which 3 food spots would you recommend I go to?

Way too many to choose from! Although I’m not from Atlanta it’s home number 2 for me. I’ll just go with these 3 off top K&K soul food, G town wings and fish, and Thumbs up Diner if you a breakfast person like me. Can’t go wrong with those 3 spots.

What is your most underrated, but favorite song of yours?

This is a hard one, but I’m going to choose from what I got out there at the moment and I choose “ New Pair” with me and UnooSauceGod off the “ Flu Game” EP so make sure you go check out that project as well!

Where did your artist name come from?

It’s a family nickname that my Grandma gave me as a baby, so that name has always followed me since basically from birth. When she passed away in 2011 I decided to use it and hopefully one day the whole world will know me by it. It’s the greatest gift I could ever give her.

What should your fans expect for the rest of 2023?

More hard work! I’ve recently dropped my newest tape “The Drip Hokage” which is on all streaming platforms right now! I have another project on the way titled “Thomas” which is my last name so I’m about to get the ball rolling on that pretty soon. Last but not least, me and Kidd Kodacc are currently working on “War Babies 2” right now. So I have a lot in motion currently, but we getting it done.
