Even though Zazilla and That Mexican OT’s new banger “OHHH MYYY” just dropped earlier this week, the pair of Mexican-American rappers have been working together for years.
In fact, the Zazilla and OT first connected in 2021 after the Salt Lake City native sent the Texas lyricist an Instagram DM and the rest was history. The pair eventually got their first collaboration in at the top of 2023 just before OT put the streets in a headlock.
“Once they came to the city we went and watched OT performance then when he got done my boy already knew who I needed to talk to so after the club it was straight to the studio to record ‘OHHH MYYY’—this all happened months before Jonny dang dropped,” Zazilla said.
Following yet another tour date in Zazilla’s hometown, he and OT linked up with Jae Synth to shoot the video for the record. Now more than ever, Zazilla is poised to leave his mark on the music industry. As he looks ahead to the rest of 2023, his focus remains on growth, setting new goals, and solidifying his position as a force to be reckoned with in the rap game, all while proudly representing Salt Lake City and its untapped potential.
