Ok so here is the rundown: summer 2015 saw a brief “Twitter spat” between Troy Ave and Joey Bada$$ over NYC and who was the hottest indie rapper in the city. Troy Ave argued the validity of Joey’s indie status do to a partnership between his Pro Era imprint and Sony Red. Things died down, as always with Twitter beef, until last week when Joey Bada$$ sent a couple of shots Troy’s way on a new record Ready. That brings us to today, with Troy Ave dropping the first official diss in Bad Ass.
