Budding rapper Jasiel Ace has made many strides through his hard work and rightfully is gaining recognition at a steady pace. After landing placement in one of “Spike Lee’s Joints” and dropping the Free EP, he is now ready to usher in his next chapter of his rise. This starts with the aptly-titled Ascended LP, a 10-track collection of records that showcases a unique vantage point of life in the small towns of the South.
The lyricist makes his mark with a light-hearted sound filled with Gospel undertones. Jasiel spews a body of words throughout that are highly-personal, inviting you into his mind. Adding to the lyrical content he manages to deliver it all at skillful cadences not many could pull off. From front to back it is structured in a well thought out and poetic fashion.
Check out the stream below. If you’re looking for a few tracks in specific I suggest Lawd and Secret 3/SippSumm featuring VitaminCee & NeoSoooul, both are standouts.
