SilaS has long made his mark as one of the premier rappers in the state of Mississippi His acclaimed LP “The Day I Died” saw the MC get nationwide coverage with singles like “The Wiz” and “Gullah Gullah Island”. With that being said he was certainly due for a bit of a break which came towards the beginning of 2018 Since then things have been all but quiet aside from a few shows.
This all changes today with the release of his “The Return” visual and boy is it a doozy. The song itself takes a break away from the sound we digested for the most part of his T.D.I.D. era, instead opting for a more gritty style of production. It suits SilaS well as he drops a barrage of bars so well strung together the track doesn’t even need a hook. The visual finds SilaS on location in New Orleans, Louisiana. Check it out below and prepare yourself for Hokage season once again.
