Chicago rapper Bless 1 may not be well known, but it seems that he is destined to change that with his new single Dreaming. More than 10 years ago Bless 1 emerged from obscurity with a free album titled Starving Artist. The surprisingly well crafted project from an unknown artist was praised on Hip-Hop blogs at the time such as XXL.com and lead to a feature article in the Chicago Reader.
As quickly as Bless appeared, he disappeared. Instead of any follow up projects he began working behind the scenes licensing instrumental tracks for use in television and advertising. Dreaming is a refreshing return of the Chicago native. Over amazing production from French producer Powell, Bless recalls details of a woman he envisions in his dreams.
