Florida’s hip-hop collective seeyousoon gained major ground in the last year with the release of their debut album, VIDÉ. If you like Brockhampton, JPEGMAFIA or Odd Future, then you’re gonna go wild for this Orlando-based nine-piece.

Now, we’re not here to talk about the album today, instead it’s all about seeyousoon’s latest treat ‘cypher’. This one does exactly what it says on the tin – it’s a literal cypher.

Each member of seeyousoon – Ignacio, Kenny, Denny, Maddie, Josh, Dre, Drex, Luke and Mitch – takes it in turn to lay out their own verse, their style, their energy. It’s the ideal way to get to know the full nine, as well as understanding why they all work so well together.

It’s minimalist beats and loads of attitude. What else would you expect from a seeyousoon cypher?
