Rising alt-pop artist 44phantom has released his new single “all figured out” along with a striking music video. The Oklahoma-born, Seattle-based musician has been working hard in the shadows, amassing 2 million total streams in the past year. His latest single takes a break from the bouncy percussion, and instead gives us a soothing pop song with a simple calm icy guitar melody and soft vocals that glide effortlessly through the track. The 19-year-old independent artist explores themes around acceptance and moving on, especially when the other person moves on faster than you. A hard-hitting topic, 44phantom co-produced the track with Jon Kilmer. The official music video, which shows the young musician singing in an empty warehouse, was directed by Ryan Jay.

“all figured out” follows the release of 44phantom’s August single “let’s be friends,” a track that reached Spotify’s New Music Friday and Fresh Finds playlist. 44phantom’s unique pop-grunge sound comes from a mix of inspirations, both from the music he was surrounded by and the sudden transition from Oklahoma to Seattle during high school. His tracks display unfiltered vulnerability that can keep you up for them 3am feels. New track “all figured out” is “about accepting a person you care about has moved on,” he shared. “Even if you wish they hadn’t, you gotta respect it.” In the last year, 44phantom has been working hard, releasing his debut single “Break Your Heart” in 2019 and his EP Bittersweet, which features the fan favorite “Poison.”
