We’re always here for some R&B fire, especially when it’s spun with the contemporary flair that Asha Gold exhibits in her new single ‘Oscar’, out now via Bad Key Record.
The track opens with a simple and moody bass-heavy beat over which Asha’s silky vocals portray the mixed-up feelings of a scorned ex-lover, the fuck boi and the best friend who calls out the truth. The relationship isn’t healthy but the mind games keep pulling all the parties back in.
It’s a super fresh take on R&B and with the relateable lyrical content. Asha Gold is onto a winner here with ‘Oscar’.
