1st Day Fresh favorite Emanuel continues his Alt Therapy saga with Session 2: Transformation. It’s an incendiary EP that includes hit single ‘Black Woman’, two new tracks ‘PTH’ and ‘Magazines’, plus a reggae-style remix of the lead single in collaborating with Caribbean heavyweights Tarrus Riley and Supa Dups.
The other exciting piece of news for the Canadian newcomer is that he’s partnered with the legendary Motown Records to release the EP in the States, alongside his existing record deal with Universal Music Canada.
Here’s a quote from Ethiopia Habtemariam, President of Motown Records & EVP of Capitol Music Group, about the new partneship: “Emanuel is an incredibly introspective and emotional artist. I’m deeply moved by his captivating voice and beautiful artistry. We’re excited to welcome him to the Motown roster and help amplify his sound and message.”
