Celebrated as Kelly Rowland’s protégé, A$H is further cementing her place in the music stratosphere with new EP, PRI$$Y, released via Glam Pop Records. The Oklahoma native first made her mark back in 2019 with debut album, It’s Just Art, and her return this year is very much a continuous of the genre-roaming narrative that A$H sets out for the listener’s enjoyment.
The new EP is packed with 90’s-esque nostalgic production with sultry R&B coming to the fore in tracks ‘Only’ and ‘Know More’. However, A$H shows off her versatility in sugary pop anthems ‘I’m Dope’ and ‘That Love Song’, giving us a little Katy Perry energy there, while the more experimental ‘That’s All’ gives a nod to afrobeat and jazz.
PRI$$Y arrives with a slew of exciting milestones for the American multi-verse talent whose music has been picked up by everyone from Tommy Hilfigger to American Airlines. The gal’s killing it!
