Homeboy Sandman released a series of music videos, Slice of Life, showing a more personal look into his daily life and routines. Each video showcases astonishing instrumentals along with superb Homeboy Sandman verses. Now exclusively on Audiomack, the highly-skilled MC has released the audio tracks. Homeboy Sandman’s collaborative album, Senile Chef, with Producer extraordinaires Deep and Ben Boogz aka the 2 Hungry Bros is set for release on November 5th. Vinyl preorders are available here.
The first release of the series, Yup. Do It. was produced by acclaimed London-based producer Eric Lau who later included the beat on his Examples, Vol Two. On I Got This, Homeboy Sandman pulls a beat from Samiyam’s excellent instrumental release Animals Have Feelings. Superman is a gritty cut on which Sand flexes his elite level wordplay over a beat from Jonwayne’s sensational instrumental release Oodles of Noodles.
Homeboy Sandman is an MC out of Queens, NY and a signee to the acclaimed label Mello Music Group. He is coming off the release of his Aesop Rock-produced Anjuelito EP as well as being featured on Peter Rosenberg’s Real Late album. In 2020, he connected with Quelle Chris to release his critically acclaimed LP “Don’t Feed the Monster.” Showing no signs of slowing down, Sand has connected with production duo 2 Hungry Bros for their upcoming full-length album Senile Chef which is set for release on November 5th. The lead single “Sun Worship” is out now!
