This is Sunny’s first record on New York’s Swaggertown Records, and the Baltimore songstress doesn’t disappoint with a vocal delivery on the song (her debut on Swaggertown Records) is elegant and enchanting. The words cause us to ponder ways in which carve out time for ourselves in a society that is constantly plugged in. Think Billie Eilish and Jhene Aiko but also know that Sunny is dreamy and distinctive in her own right.
A proven performer who has shown out with her stage show at Fleet Week Festival, An Die Muzik, BLK Swan, the Village Vanguard, and Keystone Korner, Sunny is rocking more stages soon. We can plan on seeing Sunny at the Cherry Hill Festival, Fells Point Fun Festival, and Artscape in the very near future. To further bolster her presence, every month, Sunny will also release a brand-new single. She just dropped a house song called “Full Time” on May 19th; the next drop will be an R&B song called “Higher” with one of Baltimore’s best, Eze Jackson on June 16th.
