Salt Lake City based alt rock musical collective City Ghost have just released an irresistible new musical offering. The song entitled “Good News” is a highlight off of their upcoming EP Cause and Effect.
“Good News” is about mental health issues and trying to find hope in the midst of chaos. Navigating depression, anxiety and stress can be very difficult and with “Good News” the band shares that emotional and relatable narrative. The song is a dynamic mix of rock and pop with moody guitars, impassioned vocals and an arena-worthy chorus.
City Ghost uses their platform to inspire others to be authentic and open about their internal struggles. The band is led by charismatic singer Sadie O’Neill whose vocal prowess and writing is uncanny. With more music promised, we can’t wait to hear the new EP.
