“Running Back” is a song all about trying to kick that toxic lover to the curb. The tack is shimmery, empowering and unique with Alexis’ colorful vocals singing 90’s references such as “my walkman” and “paging”. “Running Back” also features bouncy synths, nostalgic inspired hip hop beats and layered harmonies. The music video tells the story of Alexis and her friends enjoying a night out at an outdoor movie screening, showing her ex that she is moving on!
