Blazing rock trio MONTE is a musical force out of Brooklyn, NY. Formed in 2018, the band have captivated audiences with their rock meets punk sound and vivacious live shows. Their new single “Dysfunctional Mess” is shared alongside a fun music video, taking viewers inside the depths of the desert and in the dark clubs where they perform live.
“Dysfunctional Mess” is an intoxicating punk rock anthem all about making peace with ones inner demons after a breakup. Caitlin of the band pens a song that narrates not only the death of a toxic relationship but also the missed red flags along the way. The song is captivating in that it is not just a blame narrative, Caitlin takes responsibility for her mistakes throughout. The track is a hard-hitting and evocative affair complete with enticing electric guitar riffs, confident vocals and catchy melodies.
