Glassio’s version of “Atlantic City”is indie electronica bliss

London via New York artist Glassio has just released his special version of “Atlantic City” a popular song first released in 1993 by American songwriting icon Bruce Springsteen. Glassio is known for his phenomenal musical releases blending elements of electronic, nu-disco, pop, rock and even folk.

“Atlantic City” is a timeless song with a message that continually rings true. Delivered with stark simplicity and emotional depth, it captures the bleak reality of economic decline, desperation, and fleeting hope—particularly within the context of the American working class. Glassio’s spin gives a fresh and modern take filled with dynamic synths, echoing soulful vocals and rhythmic beats. The vocals are haunting and melancholy but the music is blissful making for a unique contrast. The melodies are gorgeous and the harmonies rich adding another depth to the song.

Glassio is known for his anthemic hits since first releasing music in 2015. The artist was born and raised in Sharjah in the Middle East and Monterey in California. He also has spent much time in NY making a name for himself with his popular musical releases that have generated millions of streams.
