The Urban Renewal Project combines with Camp Lo for “Don’t Ask Y”

90s hip hop duo Camp Lo and 13-piece musical collective The Urban Renewal Project have linked up for some musical goodness. Premiering on Hip Hop DX, the new single entitled “Don’t Ask Y” refreshingly fuses ’90s sounding hip-hop with deep funk beats and powerful brass.  The song is reminiscent of early Gorillaz but with a blast of a live 10-piece horn section.
