As you may have expected he ends “Black Fridays” with a true bang, releasing the Coke Bumaye-assisted “Essence”.
Soulful production sets the tone for a lyrical excercise this go around. Truth Gordon gets the credit for the sample-heavy beat. Both Dolla and Coke turn in impressive verses that show the true pen game of each artist. The song’s topic focuses in on their hustle, failures and triumphs.
Though this is technically the last release in this particular series, you can expect a lot of great things from Dolla Black throughout 2017.
