19 year old singer/songwriter, Chloe Bodur has been making a stir in the industry with the release of her latest neo-soul, jazz infused single, Glory. Hailing from North West London, Bodur’s music emits the vibrancy of growing up in the city, with her sultry vocals and poetic lyricism to create the ultimate slow-burning song, which you can’t help but keep on repeat.
Featuring funky guitar melodies, which are as sexy as Bodur’s vocals, hypnotising jazz elements and soulful harmonies, it is to no wonder that the single has been picked up by such prestigious media outlets as Huffington Post and Live Nation’s One’s To Watch.
Glory thematically focuses on a subject of which many of the youth today can relate to, “It was originally written as a poem about youth trying to find love in themselves and in others and how one correlates with the other” explains Bodur.
The track was produced by UK Top 10 charting producer JD.Reid (Mabel, Katy B, Sinead Harnett, D Double E) and mastered at the famed Abbey Road Studios by Alex Gordon (The Kooks, Raye, Sigrid, Circa Waves) and has since seen attention from BBC Introducing and Jazz FM.
If Glory is any insight as to what we can expect from future releases, then we can not wait to hear what’s next!
