Joey Bandz brings his new “DUI” visual

After putting in countless hours perfecting his craft, the singling, songwriting talent Joey Bandz is ready to make a splash in the industry with his own fresh and enticing wave of Hip-Hop and R&B/Soul. A native of South Carolina, his sound retrospects and synthesizes sonic elements from artists such as Drake, Ty Dolla Sign, 6lack, amigos, and The Weeknd, as is infused with a sultry southern drawl that’s perfect for the style of music. Implementing a combination of catchy melodies with clever word play, an undeniable cadence, and standout deliveries, he is able to balance creative concepts concerning today’s most critical topics over futuristic sounds that offer contemporary appeal and represent the direction of the culture within the Hip-Hop community.

In 2014, Joey was involved in an event that led to two major injures that resulted in him not being able to walk for 12 months. After 6 additional months of therapy, he crawled back into the studio eagerly, ready to get back to work. Determined not to let his setback defeat him, Joey used this experience as fuel to continue on his journey to becoming a musical icon and business maverick.

After teaming up with accredited producer Keyz Bridgez, the two experimented endlessly in the studio, creating, developing, and birthing Joey’s unique sound. His undeniable work ethic, songwriting ability, and die-hard passion for creating great music soon caught the attention of Grammy nominated DJ/producer Clinton Sparks. Clinton, currently VP of Dash Radio, has helped launch the careers of many of today’s talented and recognizable artists, songwriters, and producers of the last 2 decades. Working alongside both Keyz Bridgez and Clinton Sparks, Joey wrote and recorded Lonerlife, his debut EP, out now. Prior to the EP rollout, Joey released his first single, “DUI,” with an accompanied music video out now.
