Get to know Bristol city music scene’s latest export, Richie Gathu, the newcomer emcee is back with his latest, sizzling summer banger ‘Cosa Nostra’, an entirely self-written and produced UK track with some exciting, exotic influences spanning from the golden sand beaches of Spain to the milky-white sands of Mombasa, Kenya.
Having been on the music scene for a few years now, Richie is finally starting to get his shine for his big bars, bags of talent and even bigger dreams. Born in Kenya and raised in Bristol, this young up and comer fully embraces both his African heritage and his British home, with many of his musical influences inspired by his dual nationality.
Back with his third release of 2021, following on from ‘Championships’ and ‘Euphoria,’ Richie presents fans with the irresistible jam, ‘Cosa Nostra’; a vibrant and energetic track filled with sultry, Spanish guitars and melodic Swahili bars for a bit of added flavour.
Produced by Richie and mastered by none other than Adam Haggar (Migos, Childish Gambino), ‘Cosa Nostra’ is an ideal blend of gritty UK rap and danceable pop goodness that’s sure to be a hit with both sides of the spectrum. Due to release a string of singles throughout the year, this won’t be the last of Richie Gathu.
