Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes have released a banger with new single “Go Get A Tattoo”

Hit British punk rock band Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes dropped their new single, “Go Get A Tattoo” featuring Lynks earlier this week and we can’t stop listening! An artist in dual capacities, Carter merged his love of music and tattoos into an irreverent ode. At the start of the pandemic, Carter’s newly opened tattoo shop, Rose of Mercy, had to close its doors, leaving no better time to write a powerful single detailing his passion for tattoos. Carter shares, “Without tattooing, I wouldn’t be the person I am. It gives me a way to get closer to friends, family and fans, and provides intimate connections with people to create memories that can last lifetimes.” In writing this single, Carter makes it his point to never take tattooing for granted again. With its catchy and light-hearted baseline, and wild music video, this anthem invites fans to sing along to the chorus.

“Go Get A Tattoo” is the latest taste of what’s to come from the band’s fourth album Sticky, coming October 15th via AWAL Recordings. Sticky, produced by the band’s other co-founder Dean Richardson (guitar, synth/keys), also features their ferocious single “My Town” featuring IDLES’ front man Joe Talbot, and the title track “Sticky” along with additional guest spots from Primal Scream vocalist Bobby Gillespie and British singer Cassyette. Based on the responses from all three already-released songs, Sticky is clearly one of the most highly anticipated albums for the fall.

Since their 2015 debut, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes have left their unique mark on punk rock, using influences from different eras to complete their distinct sound. The duo of Carter (previously of Gallows and Pure Love) and Richardson has emerged as one of the most exciting partnerships in punk rock. They’re also using their platform to speak out about mental health, injustice, toxic masculinity and more. Known as one of the best live acts in the UK, The Rattlesnakes have fostered a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment at their live performances, encouraging equality and empowerment with their fans. If their music didn’t already grab you, this is why you need to be paying attention to Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes!
