Right off the bat from graduating with a Masters in Songwriting & Production at Tileyard London, Celine Love has quickly become a central pillar within the UK music scene following in the footsteps of influential names Alessia Cara and Lianne La Havas by delving into her own sounds. That’s evident in ‘Like You Like That’, a track based on the tones of rich soul and addictive pop. She explores tales of expressionism and finding yourself whilst sharing the opinion of socio-critical commentary.
Following the previous track of ‘Twenty Five’, the London based singer-songwriter strikes a balance between self-assured and vulnerability. Speaking further of her latest work, Love shared: “‘Like You Like That’ is about the fear of losing myself in the idea of a perfect romance. After a long-term relationship that ended during lockdown, I was starting to feel comfortable in my skin because I had the time to focus on myself.” She added: “I am a chronic overthinker and wrote this song almost as a warning to not give up everything I had gained for anyone else.”
With a series of singles to her names and highly regarded achievements, Celine Love is only looking forward to one thing; her upcoming debut EP Aquarius SZN.
