NYC based indie rock group Rebounder just released their exciting new single and video “Boy Friday” as they embark on a tour with Last Dinosaurs.
“Boy Friday” is a song from their forthcoming full-length project and weighs healthy optimism against the pressure of achieving your goals. The song is immersive and filled with sun drenched melodies and funky undertones, a perfect listen for the summer months. Noah of the band further confides, “On this one we were really interested in the idea of feeling excited and optimistic about the future, while simultaneously noticing, recognizing the passage of time more and the natural pressure it puts on you to try harder to get where you wanna go.”
The accompanying video was directed by Sundance winner Ben Klein and features the acclaimed podcaster personality Chris Black, who is known for his show “How Long Gone” with Jason Stewart. The band confesses that Chris was a “great LA spiritual tour guide,” which is showcased throughout the video when the NYC band adventures to some of LA’s most prized locations for lots of fun, laughs and endless memory making.
Rebounder is the project of New York City native producer and writer Dylan Chenfeld, his brother Noah Chenfeld, Cobey Arner and Zack Kantor. The band is best known for their collaboration with The Neighbourhood and touring with indie stars such as Dayglow, Cautious Clay, and MUNA.
