Kyn Says He Has Several Babyface Ray Collabs In The Cut

Kyn has quickly built traction in his native Detroit and is now gearing up to deliver more records with top Motor City lyricist Babyface Ray.

In all reality, though, Kyn has been involved with and collaborated with major players in the Detroit music scene since as early as high school when he first started making music. In fact, in 2011, he joined forces with “2 Million Up” rapper Peezy for the release of his first music video entitled “All Night Long.”

Fast-forward to the present day, he and Babyface Ray’s fan-favorite 2021 collaboration “Keep In Touch,” took over the city last year. Ever since, Kyn and Babyface Ray, who just released his album MOB, have been cooking up, whilst Kyn also has been developing his own sound.

Equal parts toxic romance and impassioned chivalry, “Keep In Touch,” is the perfect example of the type of persuasive, moody, sneaky link-friendly vibes Kyn can imbue into any record.

“You say I do too much but you’re the one that keeps in touch/My schedule’s inconvenient I’ll be back another weekend/But tonight stop over thinking if you single it’s not cheating/And I’m glad you didn’t keep him he wasn’t good for you anyway/He was in the way now that he’s gone you can’t enjoy the day,” Kyn croons over the instrument-infused production.

In addition to readying major collaborations he has with established artists, Kyn also recently began co-producing with the likes of producers such as TraviRay, K Money and Lee Chop, among others. Combining his distinctive Michigan-bred songwriting identity with his newfound affinity for composition, Kyn has tapped into a frequency that allows him to craft both street-certified bangers and women-approved bops.

Kyn has maintained his traction via a series of releases, which include his recent single “You Know I Know.”

As for the timeline for his upcoming releases, Kyn is keeping details fairly under wraps but is confident his new material will further align himself with top-tier artists from the city of Detroit.

For now, stream “You Know I Know,” below.
