Joyce Howell, How are You? is described as a series of unique stories as well as vignettes. The artist was inspired by a NY Times column where he describes experiences, stories and thoughts he has had in the last year. He shares, ” Love, loss, growth, comparison, jealousy, nostalgia, longing, brain rot, being uncomfortable in your own body etc., these are things we all wrestle with daily and this EP is my way of sharing what that’s looked for me this year.” The EP is a shimmery indie pop listen which melds elements of synth-pop, indie rock, and even bits of nostalgia.
