40b is a name that should be familiar to anyone who frequently visits 1stDayFresh.com. The Orlando native has always been good for some vibes with his ability to switch between melodic stylings and strong lyricism with ease. We always hold a spot in our hearts for people who can be versatile and 40b fits the… Continue reading Premiere: 40b returns with new single “Further”
Willie D. Tha Kang has quietly been one of the hardest working artists we at 1DF keep an eye on in 2018. It seems as though he's been right there every time with a new jam when things start to feel a bit mundane. From G.P., to "Weigh It Is" and every other release Willie… Continue reading Premiere: Willie D. Tha Kang teams with Houston’s King $upreme for “N II”
It's not a hidden fact that 1DF is based in Mississippi and that while we aren't exclusive to the state, there is a place in our hearts from the artists that come from here. That being said, we do reach out to and appreciate artists from all over. One city that we have a great… Continue reading First Day Feature: IRAI Ouree talks upcoming “Safari” project, Baton Rouge and more
Its one of the oldest sayings in the proverbial book that if you love something you have to let it go. If I can be honest for a second, there are very few artists I've come across that had me awaiting their project release quite as much as SIKA. The Jackson native originally made her mark as a member of Calico Panache, of 106 & Park fame, before starting her solo career with 2017's "SIGNS". Today… Continue reading SIKA caters to your musical appetite with the release of debut EP “The Meal Plan”
Judson Wright has quickly become one of our favorite artists to watch here at 1DF. Though he is still certainly scratching the surface of his immense potential, the singles he has already provided have all stuck in our mind and hearts. It's one of life's constant themes that change will eventually occur. People grow and as they do so we all look for ways to become improved versions of ourselves.
