Blog favorite and one of Mississippi’s top indie acts D. Horton is back with the third entry of his acclaimed “The Sessions” series. For The Sessions 3P he goes outside the box to bring a release style that I’ve never seen done before. It’ll be releasing on 3 separate dates, with three different producers manning each section of the overall project.
First up is New Message, who meshes well with Horton’s lyrical style of music. The songs stick to his successful formula of tracks filled with witty punchlines, social commentary and a spirit rooted deep in God. Its a strong first step that has us anxious to hear the next two editions, produced by Joe Dent and KT Got Beats, when they drop on 5/20 and 6/20 respectively.
