Rainbow infused indie pop star Polartropica has just released a whimsical new cover of The Everly Brother’s classic “All I Have To Do Is Dream”. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the shoegaze cover drips with yearning and warmth. The Los Angeles based queer performer, avant guard artist and songwriter, is a large supporter of important social causes including helping LGBTQI+ youth. She is giving proceeds from the Bandcamp sale of the new cover as well as merch (designed by Lauren YS) to a very special Queer BIPOC artist microgrants fund.
Polartropica catapulted onto the scene with the release of her first full-length album Dreams Come True. Her aim is “creating a soundtrack to her very own magical intergalactic space.” She is often praised for her unique fusion of sounds including elements of K Pop, shoegaze, synth-electronic and more.
