Vancouver born and bred singer/songwriter Miranda Joan has just released “Home”, a beautiful chilled out soulful acoustic gem. The accompanying music video, showcases Miranda spending time in the great outdoors of the Canadian wilderness, connecting with her roots. The track shines with Miranda Joan’s gentle, beautifully broken vocals over minimal production. The prolific songwriter details that the release is “a reflection of life, fueled by the experience of leaving home and family for the first time. With questions that have found new meaning this past year; one that in many ways was defined by isolation, unpredictability, and the heartache of distance from our loved ones.”
“Home” if off of Miranda Joan’s upcoming full-length album set for release later this year. The songwriter co-founded and often performs live with Femme-Jam, NYC’s first all female led jam session. She further mentors kids and teens with stuttering issues as part of the nonprofit SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young.
