Kat Hamilton released the stunning 9 track album Recovery Songs in 2020. The indie rock meets Americana full length featured songs all about resilience and is an autobiographical body of work chronicling Hamilton’s struggles with trauma, addiction, loss and ultimate recovery. The album received much critical acclaim and with that success, Kat Hamilton decided to give back to an amazing cause. She has unveiled a brand new album Recovery Friends, a cover album of her Recovery Songs re-released with indie musicians all around the country reinterpreting those vary tunes. The project is for a great cause, with all proceeds going towards the LGBTQ organization The Trevor Project.
Featuring a myriad of different artists from various genres, Recovery Friends is a must listen for any music lover.
