Los Angeles based, Miami born singer-songwriter Calica is a memorable artist on the rise. She creates alt pop music that oozes with relatability. Her latest single is called “Letting Go” and is all about keeping lovers at a distance. Sometimes it is best to focus on our independence as a young adult and Calica shows us what it is like to have a fun fling while focusing on ourselves.
Sonically, “Letting Go” features colorful synths, echoing electronic beats and honeyed-vocals. The song is a bit of a departure for the artist with a more 70s disco feel, but we are loving her new evolution of sound.
