Brian Jai’s “Waiting” Proves He’s Ready Right Now

One of my favorite R&B cuts of the summer…

Brian Jai, a man quickly making a name for himself as one of New London, Connecticut’s best, recently returned with one of his dopest tracks up to this point: “Waiting”.
Jai’s prowess as a songwriter as well as that of Erick “E.L.” Morton (formerly of Divine Mill Records) really bleeds through on this one, as Jai informs a lady he holds close that it’s all worth the wait.

“Waiting” was composed by Troy Oliver who also produced the record alongside Morton and Brian Johnson. The track conveys Jai’s feelings in spades, with Jai sounding right at home at the helm of deep R&B records with throwback parts that also have a pop sensibility mandatory to pique a listener’s interest in 2021. This is a major reason Brian Jai is one to keep an eye on. Grab “Waiting” wherever you you get your music and keep track of the homie at the links:
