Tremayne makes triumphant solo return with fiery ‘Total Fucking Darkness’

Making an almighty return to the solo side to his music career Toronto based rapper and all round artist Tremayne has returned with his explosive new single ‘Total Fucking Darkness’. Radiating heat and an impulsive, epic energy, Tremayne has returned in true style and is certainly taking no prisoners, showing his listeners and his competition that he is back and better than ever.

Oozing with creativity and an all encompassing fearless attitude, ‘Total Fucking Darkness’ gives an essence of Kendrick Lamr, in terms of the artistic prowess and experimentation, alongside Tremaynes complete and unique individual flavour. One of four members of the formidable STAYOUTLATE collective, Tremayne remains a pillar in the underground Canadian music scene and we are eager to hear what he shares next.

“This is my attempt to discuss the difference between fashion and style without coming off as a pretentious prick. I love fashion deeply. I love fashion almost as much as I love music. I can watch runway shows for hours, I can shop for days and if I had a choice folks like Raf Simons, Demna Gvasalia, Chitose Abe, and this kid from Toronto named Aris would be my best friends. Let me say this again, I love fashion. But what is fashion without style?

Money makes anyone fashionable, but it can’t make you stylish. style is more than being able to purchase a pair of balenciaga triple s’, an off white belt and some Amiri jeans. Style is the exploration of your physical and often emotional self. accentuating the parts you love, being vulnerable with parts you hate. You can give 10 different people a grey sweatsuit and that sweat suit will present completely different on all 10 people.

One of the best examples of what I’m trying to explain is the 2016 FW Vetement runway show. A show that I felt in many ways captured a lot of my feelings in style and fashion. This song in some ways represents if I could go back to that show and be a part of it in any way.” – Tremayne.
