“Emily” begins with unearthly acoustic guitar riffs that soon collide with Haley Johnsen’s warm and soulful vocals that ooze passion and determination. The song is more folk and roots orientated than her last three single releases “Goner”, “Higher” and “Common Ground” which also appear on her highly anticipated upcoming full length album that is set for release later this summer.
