Dark pop, electronic and synthwave duo Sleek Teeth released their single and music video “Endless” earlier this month. The song marks only the second release for the band who began sharing music for the first time last year with their banger “Gone”.
“Endless” is a rich and dynamic record highlighting refreshing innovation in production with a gritty edge. Catchy hooks and introspective lyrics, evoking a sense of both melancholy and euphoria make “Endless” truly special. According to the press release the song is about the unpredictable paths and the unexpected and how to navigate them. The band shares, “One minute you’re in a place that feels familiar, and suddenly things take an unexpected turn, and everything is thrown into chaos. You can walk backwards through all the steps looking for warning signs that you might have missed, but there are just some things you never could have seen coming. Sometimes you have to embrace uncertainty to move forward.”
Sleek Teeth calls Los Angeles their home. Since first releasing music last year, the band has already performed at the legendary Das Bunker and is set to play the LA darkwave music festival Substance in November. We can’t wait to hear their debut EP coming this Fall.
