As an observation of the consumerist culture we live in, Jessicka brings her visual for “Penniless Fools”. The visual is described as a “glamoried death of The American Dream”. I would have to agree as it gives a different perspective of how the chase to live out your goals can hinder so many people along the way.
“It all started surrounding a visual of an abandoned desert motel. Then I thought of how I was seeing this mega mall, dollar store culture shut down so many cherished small businesses in my hometown. The nature of it all is so cyclical, the less our jobs pay the less we can afford to pay for our lives. – Jessicka”
